This picks up from the proposal of October 21 and the walkthrough on October 26, and it is built from what Matthew told us on our calls. Today is the demo for your team, then the choice between two ways to run it.
For Matthew Tebeau and the Phagelux team · November 4, 2026 · Working draft for discussion
One goal is to open more doors.
Matthew, October 21Done "in a way that's not additive to the work of the sales reps in the field who were super busy."
you want to be one of the two they'll test. There are five.
Matthew, on how a plant chooses"Generally, we're in the top three ... I want to change that so people are contacting us when they start to consider the technology"
Our goal is not sales.
Matthew, October 21The goal is people who agree to test the product, at a plant or a grower.
Meetings agreed before Atlanta are "a very concrete goal and it's a good way to test your services because ... it will build the confidence of the team." Your team usually meets 30 to 40 people there.
The gap, October 19
because we're so lean I don't have anybody to help generate that ... for me and I know Ryan doesn't have it
Whether we keep running the campaigns or Phagelux owns the system. You said your team weighs in on this, and both options are on the terms already in the proposal.
Which lanes run beside IPPE, who signs and for which company, and the start date. The aim was Monday, November 9, with no pressure on that date.
Sample poultry, meat and produce accounts, shaped like your market. Nothing sends from it, and it stays open through Monday, November 9.
It holds no real people and no real replies. Your live workspace is set up when the work starts, before LinkedIn goes out. Your CRM stays as it is, and connecting it is a later conversation.
At enquirer.ecg.dev/phagelux, with a phage.com address and the 6-digit code that comes to that inbox. Anyone on your team gets their own sign-in once we have their address.
| Lane | Who we reach | How | When | The aim |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IPPE Fixed | Quality, food safety and processing managers and plant directors at US poultry plants | LinkedIn and email | After Thanksgiving and before the holidays, with one ask, a meeting in Atlanta | Meetings agreed before the show. Anyone not going is asked who on their team is. |
| Food safety, all year Your pick | The same roles at every plant | LinkedIn from your profile and Ryan's, plus email | Tied to the industry's events and news | A plant knows the name before it picks the two suppliers it tests. |
| Crops, ahead of the new competitor Your pick | Growers and IPM managers for tomatoes, peppers, citrus, apples, pears, nuts and stone fruit, plus the large distributors you name, leaving out the growers your field team already sees | Email only | Each crop's season | Growers have heard of Phagelux before the competitor arrives. |
| Big food, as a pull Your pick | Quality and organic teams at grocers and restaurant chains, and growers' buyers | Set with you in week one | Set with you in week one | The clean, residue-free story, from you. The keen ones raise it with their own suppliers, and no message to a supplier ever uses their name. |
All four lanes are mapped in week one either way. Every lane is new business only. Lanes as set out in the October 21 proposal.
Built from the plant names and locations you offered to send. You sign off the wording before anything goes out, and no message mentions a plant's own results or its category.
Your team brings the campaign ideas and shows us where the data comes from. We build the lists, run LinkedIn and email, and check the targeting and messaging with you each week. After the first round, you say what you want and it gets built.
We ran outreach to engineering leaders at chip and device makers for Digica. It went out in the names of their CEO and sales leads, because technical buyers like these ignore generic agency messages.
| Signed and started | Email ready about |
|---|---|
| Monday, November 9 | Thursday, November 26, Thanksgiving |
| Monday, November 16 | Thursday, December 3 |
| Monday, November 23 | Thursday, December 10 |
the outreach time for that is ... early December after Thanksgiving and before ... Christmas
Matthew, October 21Dates count the start day as day 1, with 17 days of warm-up and email about day 18. They are a planning guide, not a fixed date. IPPE 2027 runs January 26 to 28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
Your team brings the ideas and signs off the wording, and we do the rest for as long as it is useful. It runs month to month on the lanes set out in the proposal, with no setup fee.
Stop after any month, and the lists, domains, mailboxes and messaging built up to then are Phagelux's.
Build, Run, Own over four months, from the new year. We build the system around your lanes and run it with you, and it adds tools for your field team, like an app reps talk their visit reports into.
At the end of month four it moves to a phage.com address, like os.phage.com, and Phagelux owns it. From then on Ryan starts a new campaign by telling the system who to target and why.
This is the path you described on October 26. We run the campaigns first, and once you see how it fits the business, the build to own it starts when you choose.
On the terms in the October 21 proposal, for either option.
Done in house, it means paying for the data, domains, mailboxes and sending, plus someone's hours every week on the lists, the writing and the replies. While we run it, none of that sits with your team.
Nobody logs into the mailboxes while we run them, since a sign-in from a second place hurts how they send. The logins pass to you whenever the work stops.
| What | From | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| The plant names and locations you offered | Matthew | Starts the Salmonella plants campaign |
| Customer, distributor and partner lists | Matthew or Ryan | Everyone on them comes out first, so none of them gets a cold email |
| The 20 to 30 producers you know | Matthew | Shapes the crops lane |
| LinkedIn profiles connected | Matthew, and Ryan with his own OK | LinkedIn starts before email |
| One sign-off for each lane | Matthew, or whoever you name | The wording, the product claims and the distributor targets |
| A word after each call | Matthew or Ryan | Whether the person agreed to test |
| Who signs, and for which company | Matthew | The short agreement follows the same day |
| Addresses for anyone else who wants a demo sign-in | Matthew | Their own sign-in, open through November 9 |
Your team brings the campaign ideas and the data sources. We build the lists and run the outreach.
| # | To settle today |
|---|---|
| 1 | We keep running it, Phagelux owns it, or we run it first and you own it later |
| 2 | Which lanes run beside IPPE |
| 3 | Who signs, and for which company |
| 4 | The start date, with Monday, November 9 as the aim |
On a yes to running it, by reply or on this call, a short agreement follows the same day, and week one starts once it is signed. The build to own it, from the new year, has its own agreement.
If someone on your team needs to see it first, a 30-minute walkthrough this week, with the time on an invite today.
The agreement, the week one map of every lane, and your live workspace before LinkedIn starts.
